Tampereen Teekkarit 59

We wish you a warm welcome to celebrate the 59th anniversary of the Teekkari Union of Tampere! The celebration begins on the 19th of October at 2pm with a cocktail event open to all guests at Hervanta campus’ Language Center. At the cocktail party we will raise a toast to all Teekkari’s of Tampere and the invited guests will present their congratulations to the board of the Union. After the cocktail event we shall move to Kerhola in Nokia where the festivities will continue starting at 6pm until late at night. After the main celebration, buses to the afterparty will leave at 12am and 1am. After all this, the celebration will not end here as the brunch (sillis) will be held on Sunday the 20th starting 12pm in Hervanta. 

Registration to this one of a kind celebration is open through the 16th of September until the 25th of September, or as long as the tickets are sold out. The registration takes place in the webstore of the Teekkari Union. The price of the dinner card is 88 € for a student, 110 € for a graduate and in addition, you can also purchase a supporter dinner card which is priced at 130 €. All of the cards also include the brunch (sillis) on Sunday. 

The program of the party is mainly in Finnish, but the most important instructions are given also in English.   

The dress code for Saturday’s festivities is white tie with academic decorations. 

Please note that the annual party is aimed at students from year two and above. However, as a freshman, you don't have to miss out completely as you can also join the party as nakki (volunteering), which is a great opportunity to learn what the annual party is like. You also get unique freshman points for being nakki.
