Lowering of Teekkari cap and Teekkari cap coffee’s
It's that time of the year again, to lower our most beloved symbol of teekkarihood, the teekkari cap, to its well-deserved and peaceful winter rest. The traditional lowering of the cap takes place on the last day of the month, September 30th, and includes speeches and spectacular performances, warming up the audience until midnight to the lowering of the cap, accompanied by the teekkari hymn.
Lowering of the cap will take place on Hervanta campus in the yard between Main Building and Campus Arena. The program starts approximately at 22:00.
In honor of Teekkari Cap Day, Teekkari Section also organizes Teekkari Cap coffees, where coffee and fun teekkari cap related activities are offered. Fuksi’s can also get FUKSI POINTS from preparing the evening’s food (Tampereen Teekkarien nakki). Fuksi points will be available as long as there is work left!
So arrive on the 30th of September from 1 to 3pm to the kitchen of Language Center to enjoy good teekkari company and to participate in a teekkari collective work of art!
