Comfort octopus tempaus
Come use your craft skills and do some good in Turvalonkero–tempaus.
Are you an avid crocheter or knitter? 🧶 Have your loved ones had enough of your handmade gifts? No worries! Teekkari Section and TAHRA are organizing a charity crafting tempaus 17.2.–7.3. with all donations going to TAYS (Tampere University Hospital).
You can donate:
- Comfort octopuses (turvalonkero) for premature babies and individuals with memory disorders 🐙
- Woolly hats and socks for chemotherapy patients 🧦
- Other handmade items for premature babies 🧵
You can start crafting now and donate in 17.2.–7.3. to a collection box infornt of Loimio(PA215) or join our crafting workshops during the tempaus, where you will find instructions, peer support and materials for making comfort octopuses.
So, gather up leftover materials, available hooks, and head to crafting workshops during the tempaus. Lankamaailma has donated suitable yarns for the the Comfort Octopuses, and TAHRA is offering a limited number of hooks!
