Lowering of teekkari cap
With the arrival of cold and dark autumn evenings, it's time again to put the most important symbol of teekkarihood, the teekkari cap, to its well-deserved and peaceful winter rest. The cap-lowering follows traditions and takes place on the last day of September, culminating at the stroke of midnight and the changing of the month when teekkaris remove their caps during the Teekkari Hymn.
Before the cap-lowering ceremony, there will be speeches, the Tupsu Gala, the unveiling of new Distinguished Teekkaris, and other great performances.
After putting the caps to rest, the official afterparty will be held at Varjobaari in Hervanta.
Welcome to the front yard (Etunurtsi) to enjoy the performances and put Teekkarilakki to a dignified rest on 30th of September at 22.30 o'clock!
