Kollektiivi and Teekkarijaosto: Tamventure
What kind of a traveller are you? Are you an adventurous globetrotter extraordinaire or perhaps a casual tourist strolling about leisurely? Do you make time for a calming cup of coffee near the promenade, or do you fly through the interesting museums in the city all at once? TREY's event section Kollektiivi and Teekkarijaosto are challenging you to find out which group you belong in! Come and see our beautiful city of Tampere in this phenomenal Tamventure City Adventure! In this event, the teams get to know Tampere through the eyes of a tourist, performing different kinds of tasks while travelling around the city's key tourist attractions, while also getting to know both the city and each other. So, pack your bags with the holiday atmosphere and the spirit of adventure, and get to know Tampere together with your fellow students!
There are three difficulty levels for the rounds which are determined by the number of checkpoints and the difficulty of the tasks. The levels from easiest to most difficult are:
Casual tourist
Adventurous explorer
Globetrotter extraordinaire
The checkpoints are completed through a virtual platform. An overall patch corresponding to the level completed will be given to those who have completed the round. You can sign up by yourself or with a friend. Groups of 4 will be assembled based on the level you wish to complete. You can find checkpoints all over the Tampere city centre's tourist attractions, and with the help of the tasks, the teams get to know the tourist attractions, so even those who have lived longer in Tampere will surely learn something new and interesting about the city during the tour! Remember, this is not a race on who is the fastest.
