Full Scale Herwantapeli

Anniversary year ❓ Herwantapeli 25th anniversary ‼️ 

In honor of the TT60 anniversary year, we want to highlight traditional events for teekkaris, make them bigger, and emphasize collaboration between organizations. One of the most traditional phenomena is Herwantapeli, which was launched in 2000. This Wappu, we aim to expand Herwantapeli to a full-scale event across the entire Hervanta campus, the FullScaleHerwantapeli. 

Herwantapeli is a (drinking)board game, reminiscent of Monopoly. In the traditional Herwantapeli, players travel through key locations in Hervanta that are essential to students, and at each location, they enjoy a corresponding drink, snack, or other activity. This time, we want to scale the game to real life. 

During the Wappu event, participants will travel in 4-person teams to marked locations on the campus and its surroundings. At each location, they will enjoy products or activities corresponding to the game. Each game lasts 1.5 hours, and there are departures between 13:00 and 18:00 every half hour, with 4 teams participating in each departure. Participation in the event is costs 12.5€/person and the payment will be made in cash on-site at Etunurtsi on the event day!
