Charity Concert 18.9.

Teekkari Section is organizing a well-being themed charity concert on September 18th at Laikunlava, with the aim of spreading positivity and doing some good at the same time. The event will feature fantastic student bands and provide an opportunity for students to meet new people and reduce loneliness. In addition to addressing student loneliness, the event encourages students to join the bone marrow donor registry.

In Finland, the bone marrow registry seeks suitable donors among voluntary members to help seriously ill patients. Currently, the registry has 65,000 members, and approximately 40 of them get to save a human life each year. Donors are selected based on tissue type compatibility. Currently, one in every five patients in Finland cannot find the best matching donor. Anyone who is generally healthy and between 18 and 35 years old can join the bone marrow registry.

With this event, we offer the opportunity to do good together for others! Representatives from the bone marrow registry will be present at the concert and provide information on how to join the registry.
