Moi, Minkä takia Pikkujouluristeilyssä on valittu Matkapojat matkatoimistona, kun 2020 perutulla risteilyllä todistautui, kuinka huono heidän asiakaspalvelu oli. Mä en tykännyt siitä, että kesti melkein puoli vuotta saada rahat takaisin ja sekin vasta sen jälkeen kun piti uhkailla kuluttajasuojan kanssa. Aika kyseenalaista valita uudestaan sama yhtiö, joka on kerran yrittänyt köyhiltä opiskelijoilta huijata rahaa. Olisiko voinut jotain kilpailijaa valita mieluummin? Matkailualalla on kuitenkin useampaa yhtiötä kilpailemassa.

Thank you for your feedback about the travel agent Matkapojat of our pre-Christmas cruise. We decided to use the same travel agent this year because there might be changes to the concept of the cruise in the future, so it did not seem necessary to compare agents this year. Teekkari council has suggested that more environmentally friendly events should be considered to replace the pre-Christmas cruise. No decisions have been made about this, but the council has asked the board of Teekkari Union to find out possible solutions for making the cruise more environmentally friendly. We are expecting the conversation to continue about the future of the cruise, and therefore we did not want to make changes this year. 

You also made a point about the difficulties last year, when it took moths to return the payments after the cruise was cancelled. We would like to point out that at the beginning of the year, when the decision about using the same travel agent was made, the payments were only two or three months late and the travel agent made promises about returning the payments soon. This year the travel agent has had difficulties with ticket sale, which has surely been visible to attendees as well, since the ticket sale has been on a pause a couple of times. These problems have all been discussed with the travel agent, and using the same travel agent in future will be considered. In these discussions both last year’s problems, which you described in your feedback, and this year’s difficulties will be taken into account.
